Job Description
As a CCTV Technician at Smart Sense Security Systems, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems to ensure they operate effectively and meet the security needs of our clients. Your expertise will contribute to the safety and security of various environments, from residential properties to commercial establishments.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and other related equipment according to system design and client specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance performance and meet evolving security requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs performed, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related technology.
- Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.
