Job Description
As an Installation Technician at Smart Sense Security Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our advanced security systems are installed, configured, and maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installations of security equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, ensuring precise and secure setup.
- Configure security systems according to client requirements and conduct thorough testing to ensure all components are functioning correctly.
- Conduct pre-installation site assessments to determine the best setup and placement for security equipment, taking into account the unique needs of each location.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for installed systems, promptly addressing any issues and performing necessary repairs or updates.
- Educate clients on the operation and features of their new security systems, ensuring they feel confident in using the technology.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities, providing regular reports to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards during installations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with various security systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations.
